Christ Has Risen!

Alleluia, Alleluia! Give thanks to the risen Lord. Alleluia, Alleluia, give praise to His name.

Dear Friends,

Easter – the day that Christians the world over rejoice in the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. A resurrection that signaled once and for all that the power of death and destruction stood powerless in the face of the victory of Jesus Christ.

For 40 days our ‘Alleluia’s are buried’ while we solemnly discern and reflect, anticipating the day of our Risen Lord. It is during this time that we bear witness to the gentle unfolding of the truth of His Light. The dormancy of winter begins to recede as the longer days of spring are ushered in. Life begins to renew itself.

On Easter Day Christians, having discerned and born witness, join together and celebrate in liturgy and song. Renewing our faith in the victory of the Resurrection Light that is Jesus Christ. A light that would go on to influence the lives of men and women down through 2000 years all around the globe. That light shines forth today as the final victory over all evil, all sin and all death.

“Let us count ourselves immortal. Let us know personally the gospels of Jesus. And, let us not
merely say, ‘Christ is Risen’ but “I  S H A L L  R I S E.”
